Meet Sam

Hi, I’m Sam. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and grew up working in my family’s blueberry business. Surrounded by hard-working, blue-collar entrepreneurs—my family, friends, and community—I developed a deep respect for small business ownership from an early age.

After earning a finance degree from the University of Washington, I spent the last decade in investment banking, advising founder- and family-owned agribusiness & service companies on M&A and capital raises. That experience gave me a front-row seat to what makes small businesses successful—and how to navigate transitions with care.

Now, I’ve stepped away from investment banking to follow in the footsteps of the business owners I’ve long admired. My wife and I live in the Seattle area, and I’m actively looking to acquire and operate a profitable and well-established business rooted in a community like the one I grew up in.

Why Work with Sam and SENNA CAPITAL

Significant Capital for Investment

I have significant personal capital to invest and am working with trusted SBA lenders to get letters of support and ensure a smooth financing process. You won’t be left wondering if I can get the deal done.

Proven Transaction Experience

I’ve successfully led 50+ transactions as an investment banker, advising founder- and family-owned businesses. I know how to navigate deal hurdles, anticipate challenges, and ensure a clean, timely close.

Blue-Collar Roots & Operational Experience

I bring a rare combination of transaction experience and hands-on exposure to blue-collar businesses. I grew up working in my family’s blueberry farm, have deep ties to trades-based entrepreneurs, and have worked closely advising business owners across the agribusiness and services industries.

Speed & Certainty

I’m a full-time, committed buyer with the experience, team, and resources to move quickly and close a deal with minimal disruption.

Respect for Your Legacy

I’m not a financial buyer looking to flip your company. I will be a hands-on operator—supporting your team, protecting your company’s culture, and preserving the legacy you’ve built over decades.

Long-Term Commitment

Unlike private equity or corporate acquirers, I’m not here to cut costs or chase a short-term exit. I’m here to build on what you’ve created, contribute to the community, and grow the business for the long haul.
